The Ghost of the Dirty Lenséger
As my background is known among friends, I’ve been asked to look at photos throughout the years. A few weeks ago, I was asked to look at a digital photo. I instantly saw the same type entity I’d got evidence of at Alcatraz several years ago. The Ghost of the Dirty Lens. The photo I took was through a dirty piece of glass. I knew I was shooting through the glass and taking a risk. The resulting photo was that of the anomaly identical to what I was asked to review. The “white fog spector” is what I call it. As paranormal researchers and investigators, we need to ensure our equipment is pristine, or as close as possible. And be willing to disclose any known or possible defects. Make sure the lenses are clean and scratch free. Treat those babies with tender loving care because our equipment will be called into question when we get great evidence.
I wish I could produce the photo that I took... I really do, but I lost everything in a house fire a few years back and I believe they were only on 35mm. I continue to search every file on my computer and various backups in hopes that I can find it. That said, for this piece, I simply googled the term, "what does a photo look like that's taken with a dirty lens?" This is the resulting image search gave me a perfect example of the Ghost of the Dirty Lens. You're welcome to google the same.
